Worst return customer service of my life! Felt interrogated and silly trying to return something in original packing with receipt. Costco or Home Depot is much better
Regretfully I have to give one star to share the story with the automotive department. My son had his truck "fixed" here. The mechanic installed the part the wrong way, so his truck failed in the middle of nowhere again after just a week and had to be towed. The invoice at Canadian Tire was several hundred dollars. Neither the mechanic or the manager owned up to the mistake, even after one of them spoke with the mechanic from the other store that fixed it just fine. Canadian Tire refused to refund the money my son spend for a faulty job or to make up for it in any other way. Which left us with no other choice than to fight it via a charge back through visa. With all the supporting evidence of their miserable job we got our money back. Yet that went on for half a year. I find it a disgrace for such a big store to not man up to their mistake, specially when they know that they just took several hundred dollars from a young man that just finished college , for a miserable job that only lasted a week. The arrogance and ignorance from the mechanic, department manager and store manager was mind blowing. My family is done shopping in any shape or form at these stores. Be careful when you sign something. The mechanic made notes on the back on one of the papers, not signed by my son, but they tried to use it anyway. That was the worst experience we ever had with a automotive store. Would not go back even if I would get paid for it.
A wide variety of things available here. Some of the pricing is great and some is super high. Staff is normally very helpful and kind.
I had an issue that needed to be resolved and I was informed to contact Dennis. We went over a couple of options that would be available, and luckily one of the options was fair to both parties, so I accepted. He listened to what I had to say, made it fair; therefore, made a long term customer leave the store happy. He handled the situation very professionally! I will definelty keep recommending Canadian Tire, as I have been, as my issue was resolved with understanding and professionalism!
