Seemed so eager to help at the beginning, but I think he was just after making some money off someone that needed help
Went for a consulting cost $280.00 to hear that this lawyer has no clue what she was doing ( Jacqleine T).Offered no help and had no idea of what she was taking about. Still had the nerve to charge for 20 min of nothing. Unless you have money to throw away. I would not recommend this outfit.BAD BUSINESS.
So far we are very pleased with our young new lawyer. She is professional, respectful, knowledgeable and does not "mud sling". She gets things done in a timely manner, returns all calls and emails. We are quite certain that when or if the time comes for her to bite, she will do so, but again, professionally. We highly recommend this young lady to anyone who has a civil litigation issue. She truly loves what she does and is very good with people.
Wouldn't recommend after my experience, well with the lawyer I had anyways. Unless you want your case drug on and your cost going up and not see any success. Sad when I had to hire an Alberta lawyer for the same case for 750$ which I actually got 300$ back from that to keep my case in BC because my lawyer wasn't able to work in Alberta, which is probably a good thing, and they did a better job over there with that retainer than I forked into a retainer here for 2500$ a pop.
My lawyer from HSJ was nice enough but Ive spent what to me is a lot of money and in doing so never got ANY justice. I feel in part because Im not a high value client, my file was never handled in a timely manner, things were almost always disseminated very late to me or not at all. I asked my lawyer to please treat my situation as if it was her life, like she actually cared. I think it offended her, or her assistant and things slowed down. I do not feel as though they were working for my benefit and I paid my last statement only to get another... for what, Im unsure. After spending so much on such uninterested and slow service Im feeling bitter and less than inclined to pay them any faster than they worked for me.
