Beautiful setting but limited number of attractions. Plan a picnic to extend your time there. Lovely spot to picnic.

A good time to go is during August for Homestead Days. Bring cash. A really great place for a family to visit and experience a historical homestead!
Honestly was pleasantly surprised! Went and did "Sherlock Saturday" and found the staff to be pleasant, the site to be beautiful and well maintained and just had an overall wonderful time! Will be back!!
