Nice little park by the river. Easy access to the Nechako. Could use some watering in the summer and garbage clean up in the creek valley.

The loop trail is a lot more vertical than I expected. The view from the top of the cutbanks looking over town is very good. The trail that just leads to the viewpoint is short and easy so you could easily take kids or have a picnic or something. The whole loop trail is very easy but you do spend a lot of time heading up and down if you have bad joints they might ache a little. Expect to take a little under an hour to do the loop.
It was really great. Nice hike that is easy and rewarding.
Best views of Prince George. Some good walking trails and nice grassy patch at the top for frisbee or a small fire. The Cutbanks (accessible from top or bottom) are a great in-town hike and the sand bank is an amazing workout that can easily be run before or after work. About 100m elevation gain at 30 degree slope. Try not to use the rope!
