Called Mainline because we have used them before and had always been happy with their service. So when our dishwasher was leaking we trusted they would be able to help us. They were able to send someone out within the hour, so far so good! After a short time looking under the dishwasher the technician advised that there was a cracked hose and that he would be back. He came back with a new hose, explaining that it took longer because he had tried to fabricate something but when that didn't work he called around and was able to find a hose to fit our dishwasher. We are still not sure why we had to pay for his time to fabricate something when a replacement part was readily available nor are we sure why he called around for a part only after he tried to fabricate something. Anyway, he fixed the hose and presented us with a bill for over $300.00 and while my husband was writing him a cheque, he explained that "oh by the way the pump on your dishwasher is going and can't be fixed so there still may be a leak". Are you kidding??? We paid for him to play around trying to fabricate something, we paid for a new part, we paid for a call out, we paid a crazy hourly rate, labor for 1.75 hours was $265.00, only to be told that the dishwasher was still broken and would need to be replaced anyway. What a rip off. We called the office to inquire about the bill and were told that we would receive a call back, we didn't. My husband is no plumber, thus the reason we called the "experts" but after the technician left he turned the dishwasher on and saw the pump running like a tap, something that the expert wasn't able to figure out. We have no problem buying a new dishwasher, things wear out, we do however have a problem with being charged a ridiculous amount to fix something that can't be fixed and will not call Mainline for any future pluming or heating issues and certainly won't recommend them to anyone.
Have had Mainline Plumbing out for year to service the furnace. Nothing but professional service. Today had Ryan out to fix septic tank pump. The alert light was on and tanks full. Problem ended up being corroded connections. He cleaned them up and pump is working great. Can't say enough good things about this company. Highly recommend them.

Used this place d/t high reviews. Underwhelmed. 2 hours late. Paid full hour for sink to be just be plumbed, and left mess afterwards with no cleanup in my down stairs sink. In any profession, in feel u need to clean up afterwards, especially in a persons home. also plumbed part of sink water into dishwasher, and was later told "to just run it." Will add, sink drains fine now. Principle of the situation....clean up after yourself.
based on our experience I would highly recommend this company. Very professional and half the cost of other quotes received!
