2016 Nice rooms. Newly renovated and clean. Update 2018. We have been coming here for 2 years now and are still happy with the cleanliness of the rooms. I've stayed at (supposedly) fancier hotels in PG where the rooms weren't nearly as clean. I am pleased with the consistency. The smoking area out front is a bit icky, but I'm not a smoker. The parking area out front is also pretty awkward to get in and out of but doable. The breakfast is okay - typical continental - carb laden breads, muffins, bagels and cereals, etc. Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. You cant really beat the value.
Clean comfortable rooms that have recently been renovated. Friendly helpful staff who asked several times if everything was ok. Slight drawback was no easily accessible outlets. Had to crawl under desk to unplug the lamp to charge devices. Recommend this hotel for a short easy stay in Prince George.
EDIT: Upon checkout, we were charged for the two double bedroom as opposed to the booked two queen. The person who checked us out was very nice and friendly. We booked a room via a third-party site, which said the hotel was pet friendly, as there were good reviews on Google Maps and elsewhere. As there was no option to inform that we had a pet via the booking site, we called to confirm our booking and that we had a pet. We were then told, quite rudely, that the room we had booked (a room with two queen beds) did not allow pets and we would have to be put in a room with two double beds that was set up for pets. We then asked if we could pay the cheaper rate for the double beds as opposed to the more expensive rate for the queen beds, and were told that we could not, and would have to pay the amount we booked for, again quite rudely. The room itself had an extremely iffy outlet that had had the bedside lamp unplugged from, so we couldn't use that. When we turned on one of the room lights, it flickered and also made a concerning noise. The TV was a chore and a half to get working, and parking was also difficult. Despite all this, the beds were quite comfy, the staff members that we spoke to in person were very nice and polite, and the room was relatively clean, so I'll give them that. I would not recommend this hotel if you have pets. If you don't have pets, you will likely have a much better experience here than we did.
Frank was super friendly and welcoming! The rooms were small but cozy and comfy. No issues and we stayed for one night. Maybe just have more breakfast options.
Comfortable beds, in a clean, contemporary room. Rooms could use better sound proofing. Parking is very limited but was adequate for mini vans or smaller vehicles. Downtown location. Friendly staff. Great value with a good continental breakfast included.
